Custom Growing & Crop Sharing
In addition to growing our own crops, we also offer custom growing as well as crop sharing opportunities to fellow organic farmers who want to outsource farming in their off season as well as to distributors of organic produce who need crops during our unique season. Some of the crops we can grow include:
Organic Fruit
- Casaba Melons – Casaba melons are high in vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin K, and potassium.
- Crenshaw Melons -Crenshaw melons are high in vitamin C.
- Golden Dew Melons – Golden dew melons are an excellent source of vitamin C.
- Watermelons – Watermelon is a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin B6.
Organic Vegetables
- Asparagus (purple, green) – Asparagus is a good source of vitamin A, potassium, and folate.
- Broccoli – Broccoli is rich in vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin A, and folate.
- Brussel Sprouts – Brussel sprouts are high in vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin A, folate, and manganese.
- Butter Lettuce – Butter lettuce is a good source of vitamin A and vitamin C.
- Cauliflower – Cauliflower is a good source of vitamin C and manganese.
- Celery – Celery is rich in both vitamin K and vitamin C.
- Chards – Chards are an excellent source of iron, vitamin C, and magnesium.
- Fingerling Potatoes (Laratte, French, German Butterball) – Fingerling potatoes are unique and rich in flavor. Each variety has its own characteristics and are all rich in vitamin C and high in fiber.
- Kales – Kales are rich in vitamin K, vitamin A, and vitamin C.
- Potatoes (red, white and yellow) – Potatoes are rich in vitamin C and high in fiber.
- Romaine Lettuce (red, green) – Romaine lettuce is rich in vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, and manganese.
Organic Grain
- Wheat – Wheat is an excellent source of fiber and is high in vitamin B6, niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, and selenium.

While we have grown these crops before and know they do well in our desert climate, this is not an all-inclusive list. As long as the growing terms and situational factors are right, we will gladly try growing other crops upon request.
