At Oasis Organics, we produce a variety of high-quality vegetables, fruits, grains, feed, and seeds without the use of harmful synthetic and chemical fertilizers or pesticides used in conventional farming. All our organic vegetables, fruits, and grains are grown in fertile soil that has been purged of chemicals through years of transitioning practices or fallowing. Taste the Difference in Desert Gems Products
We grow a variety of organic fruits and vegetables that are both healthy and delicious. Much of our produce is marketed under the Desert Gems label and can be purchased either directly from our farm or from one of our distributors. We offer a selection of Desert Gems products including:
- Cantaloupe – This melon is characterized by its orange flesh color and golden netted skin. Cantaloupe has a sweet aroma that becomes more pronounced as it ripens. Our spring cantaloupe develops nicely under the desert sun producing high sugar counts, great color, juicy flesh, and high netting. Cantaloupe is an excellent source of vitamin A and vitamin C.
- Galia Melons – Galia melons are a cross between cantaloupe and honeydew. They are typically larger in size than cantaloupe, but taste similar. Our galia melons are high in sugar and have a sweet fragrance. Galia melons are an excellent source of vitamin A and vitamin
- Honeydew – Our honeydews are firm, juicy and sweet. They are high in sugar which gives them both their sweet aroma and taste. Honeydews are high in vitamin C and potassium.
- Potatoes - We grow red and gold potatoes that are rich in color and taste. We take special care in harvesting and packing our spuds so as to not have any mechanical damage. Sized and graded in a variety of packs, our organic potatoes are available for bulk or specialty orders.
- Sweet Onions – Our yellow and red desert sweet onions are crisp yet juicy. They have a high water and sugar content that provides a mild, sweet taste. We can grow a variety of sizes ranging from Pre-packs to Jumbos. Sweet onions are rich in vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium.
